Gentle pressure and strokes are applied to the feet or hands including acupressure points which removes blockages and promotes health and harmony throughout the body. These points are located along an invisible system of energy channels within the body, known as meridians. They relate directly to organs and glands of the body where constrictions in the flow of energy at these points may cause disease and discomfort.
What to expect during a treatment
The patient usually lies fully clothed on a soft massage table while the practitioner presses gently on points situated on various parts of the body. The session is non-invasive and gentle. An average session lasts for about one hour, and a number of sessions are normally required to complete treatment. You can elect to have acupressure / reflexology for the full body or just on your feet, hands or face.
